From there, we begin the space planning process where we provide you with sketch plans that explore all options. 04. IF A DESIGN AND CONSTRUCT FIRM IS ENGAGED, CAN WE STILL HAVE OTHER COMPANIES PRICE THE BUILDING WORKS?


If you engage inOne projects to design your office fit out or refurbishment, we encourage you to compare our construction costs as we are extremely confident with our competitive rates in the market. Should you decide to engage another builder, we will assist and be cooperative.

05. ONCE THE DESIGNS ARE COMPLETE, HOW SOON CAN WE COMMENCE THE WORKS?


We can commence works as soon as the floor plan is certified and the contract price agreed upon. Ideally, all documentation is to be completed prior to starting onsite but we understand there are circumstances where the build needs to be complete as soon as possible. At inOne, we have our own labour, directly employed by us, and are able to commence work immediately.

06. WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF CARRYING OUT A NEW FIT OUT?

07. DO YOU NEED A LICENSE TO UNDERTAKE A FIT OUT?


inOne Projects holds a current Builders License and all relevant insurances. If you engage a non-licensed contractor for your office fit out, there is a high risk involved which often leads to a costly outcome. You need to ask, why aren’t they licensed? For all commercial projects, every trade must have a relevant contractor licence to carry out the construction works. All of our trades are fully licensed and insured.

08. HOW LONG WILL THE FIT OUT PROCESS TAKE FROM CONCEPT TO COMPLETION?


The design, documentation and approval stage can take between 1 -2 weeks, depending on the size of the project. The onsite construction period is dependent on the amount of joinery and the type of furniture and finishes selected. Joinery and workstations take 3 – 4 weeks from site measure to install so a general rule for the fit out is 3 to 8 weeks, depending on size.

09. HOW MUCH WILL THE FIT OUT COST?


While other companies will provide you with a square metre rate, this is often inaccurate. There are a number of variables including the type of building and quality of finishes that can affect the cost of the fit out. At inOne, our approach is to assess each space as an individual form and price accordingly. This ensures an accurate figure is provided with no hidden surprises during construction, ensuring clients are satisfied with not only the fit out quality but also the final cost on completion.

10. WILL THERE BE ANY ADDITIONAL COSTS FROM THE ORIGINAL TENDER?


No. inOne projects are completely transparent in our pricing. All quotes are broken down per trade and the fit out will be built as documented for the contracted price. Only additions to the scope, such as furniture or joinery, would attract a further charge.

11. WHICH AREAS DO INONE CARRY OUT OFFICE FIT OUTS?


inOne’s core focus is Sydney based office, medical and hospitality fit outs. We have also undertaken successful fit outs in Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne as well as other regional areas.

12. CAN WE CONTINUE TO WORK IN OUR CURRENT SPACE WHILE OUR OFFICE REFURBISHMENT IS TAKING PLACE?


Yes. We can carry out full office refurbishments where the client continues to operate throughout the project. We take all necessary precautions to ensure all areas are made safe which enables the staff to be confident that they can still carry out their daily duties. All noisy works are carried out after hours to maintain a functional working environment.
